Here it is almost the end of the year and I am finally through the computer trauma that has been in charge of the last few months. I had to have my tower HD reformated and that left me using the laptop in the living room. For a person who is very very precise and can't stand things out of order it was indeed an uncomfortable event. I had cords traveling all over the main room for relaxing in our home. I can't use a laptop without my own keyboard (my wrists always do strange things on the laptop keyboard) and a mouse that I can hold in my hand. Also in order to get anything done I had to have my EHD connected as the laptop is relatively new and didn't have my files on it. Now thanks to the kindness of my friend and neighbor, my tower is up and running and I moved back into my office on Saturday.
I really really really wanted things to be ready by the end of this month. I am enrolled in the Design Your Life class at Big Picture Scrapbooking with Cathy Zielske. It will take up the first three months of the year. I am utterly excited to do this. I love her design work. It is very much the simple style that I admire and strive for. It is going to be a great year. My body is feeling much better and I am chanting to stay out of the doctors office as much as possible in the New Year.
Here is the first page of the album that we will be creating in the class which starts on December 31st. New Year's Eve is also the birthday of my husband and my daughter-in-law. Should be a most interesting day. The words are; gift, wish, joy and magic.
