Yesterday was the third time my new little student came for a lesson this summer. She had a good time learning to spray inks and use distress ink pads with stencils. It was an hour of play and being messy and attempting to move away from all pink to a bit of orange or yellow. She is a delightful young girl.
By this morning, however, I realized that I am no longer able to teach, especially a younger student who needs to be shown more than told. I spent most of last night and all of this morning in the midst of a flaire-up. My right hand barely useable and my left not much better.
I am finding more and more that I have to cut back on the actual paper art and stick to the digital for the satisfaction of being able to create. My heart is heavy. I will spend a few days chanting and resting and then make what may be more tough decisions.
